Golf Cart Registration

First time golf cart registration is $25 and the renewal fee is $10. Golf carts must be inspected for new registrations and must meet all inspection requirements to be registered for use on city streets. John Deere Gators and other similar utility vehicles also qualify for use and registration on city streets as long as pass the required inspection. The inspection checklist includes:

1. Headlights and taillights
2. Seat belts
3. SMV sign
4. Rearview mirror
5. Flashing red or amber light (red must only be visible from rear and side)
6. Proof of Insurance
